Description:

SUU Web Services, part of the Information Technology department, is seeking a Student Web Content Editor. The bulk of this position’s work at first will be centered around a project related to bachelor degree pages during the summer, but once that is completed we would love to have this employee continue on as part of our team doing general maintenance on the SUU website throughout the school year. We would welcome students from any major, but particularly those in communications, marketing, or anyone who would like to work in web/digital media fields after graduation.

Position Details:

  • Hours: Full-time (up to 40 hours/week) during the summer, part-time (20 hours/week) during the school year.
  • Responsibilities: Create web pages for each bachelor’s degree using our content management system (CMS) by transferring content from copy deck files into web templates.
  • Skills: Basic HTML, good grammar and spelling, attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
  • Additional Skills: Interest in gaining practical communications or marketing skills, familiarity with SEO, and the ability to follow a strict templated process.
